Gender equality is often thought of as a battle of women to achieve their rights. However, despite these views, the fight for gender equality is not only a task of women. Like women, men have a stake in gender equality efforts. Achieving equal rights, equal access to responsibilities and opportunities, and ensuring that no person is discriminated against on the basis of gender should be the goals of both women and men. In many cases, the idea that gender equality is a fight for women's rights has led men to believe that the fight for gender equality does not belong to them. But the truth is that men have an important role to play in achieving equality. Therefore, in this course, we will talk about the involvement of men in advocacy for gender equality, their role in advocacy and decision-making processes, and the forms how men can be involved and advocate, as well as highlight the benefits that come as a result of the involvement of men in advocating for gender equality.
